Hi. How are you? Welcome back to one more day from the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.
I'm currently studying English Studies at university, and in my English literature lessons, I just finished "King Lear."
While reading it, I began to put faces to the characters based on their behaviour. The play is priceless. We can even ask ourselves who is who in the US government.
"King Lear" has it all:
- A despot who attacks the world, exiled to anyone who doesn't please him,
- Smarmy daughters and sons-in-law,
- A civil war,
- Cruelty,
- A jester and a loyal follower...
Each person can draw their own conclusions.
And with this I conclude today's episode; see you in the next one!
If you have any comments or suggestions for future episodes, you can write me a comment.
