Desde la llegada de las personas migrantes, allá por septiembre, parece que se ha despertado una inusitada ola de xenofobia nunca vista,quizás por la crisis económica y turística y la pandemia se han exacerbado los ánimos, que ha hecho que quienes hacemos sensibilización contra los delitos de odio, nos veamos imposibilitados para hacer nuestro trabajo en los distintos foros, debido a la cantidad de insultos recibidos y, en parte, porque la prensa hace un flaco favor que ni se molesta en atajarlos.
Por ello, me gustaría hablarles de nuestra profesión, la de los animadoras-es socioculturales e integradores sociale, quienes necesitamos reconocimiento para nuestra profesión . Pido, por favor, que nos apoye. Nuestra labor es muy importante para el empoderamiento de las personas y el desarrollo comunitario de nuestra sociedad.
En momentos tan duros como estos, creo que las personas migrantes, en especial, requieren una intervención social más integral, y no solo la atención prestada, muy loablemente por voluntarios.
En mi caso, la implementación de proyectos contra delitos de odio en los centros educativos se hace más necesario que nunca.
