A veces creo que los españoles tenemos un pequeño problema de autoestima: siempre solemos pensar que lo de fuera es mejor que lo nuestro y francamente, si supieran cómo funcionan las cosas a nivel por ejemplo, de sanidad o servicios sociales en Estados Unidos u otros países se llevarían una gran sorpresa.
Creo que los españoles nos quejamos por todo pero realmente lo tenemos todo, por eso nunca entenderé los niveles de pobreza.En Estados Unidos la gente, por ejemplo, está endeudada por la educación y la sanidad y aquí tenemos ayudas de todo tipo, pero el tema es que les propongo hoy tiene que ver con las viudas. Las viudas especialmente de India, porque quedarse viuda en India significa estar condenada en vida.
En el sector más conservador del hinduismo cuando una mujer se queda viuda es desposeída de todo y puede ser expulsada de su hogar por la familia política o incluso por sus fijo que lo consideran una carga repudiable. Imagina que te queda viuda con 25 años, porque nunca podrás casarte eso es lo que le ha ocurrido a 20.000 viudas , que han emigrado por necesidad a la ciudad de brindaban para rezar a Krishna y mendigar hasta el día de su muerte.
Luego cuando veas una viuda española que seguramente tendrá su paga de viudedad, su pensión no diga que es una pobrecita ni cosas por el estilo porque seguramente esa persona vivirán mejor que las viudas de India porque al final al cabo salvo que viva sola tiene siempre una familia.
