Hi. How are you? Welcome back to one more day when it's... from the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.
Each time a boat arrives on the coast of the Canary Islands, xenophobes begin to attack them with the Canarian press' collusion needed of clickbaits.
This same press sometimes decides to publish migrants' life histories, and archaeologists have said we, the Canarians, are of Berber origin, i.e., the North African peoples (Morocco, Algeria, Libya...), but part of the population does not accept it because they feel they are comparing with those who come here on boats. Besides, they feel more North European than African.
But, dear xenophobes: DNA does not lie.
