Cuatro mujeres y tres niñas murieron en un naufragio en el puerto de La Restinga,  El Hierro, Canarias, España . Sus vidas se perdieron a metros de la costa, huyendo de la miseria, la violencia y la desesperación, solo para encontrar la muerte en una embarcación precaria. Suele ocurrir que , cuando las personas migrantes, exhaustas tras varios días de viaje , se ponen nerviosos y la embarcación vuelca. cuando los rescatistas comienzan a rescatar a las menores en el muelle. Otras veces ocurre en alta mar.

¿Cómo es posible que, en pleno 2025, sigamos cerrando los ojos ante esta crisis?

En El Hierro con recursos insuficientes y una indiferencia en las redes sociales que duele. Esto no es solo un accidente: es el reflejo de un sistema roto, de políticas que fallan y de una conciencia adormecida. Hoy, alzo la voz para decir: ¡basta! Exijamos vías seguras para migrar, justicia para las víctimas y un compromiso real para cambiar esta realidad. Porque cada vida perdida en el mar es un naufragio de nuestra propia humanidad. ¿Nos unimos a esta lucha o seguimos mirando al otro lado?

Four women and three girls died in a shipwreck in the port of La Restinga, El Hierro, Canary Islands, Spain. Their lives were lost meters from the coast, fleeing misery, violence, and despair, only to find death in a precarious boat. It often happens that when migrants, exhausted after several days of travel, become nervous and the boat capsizes, just as rescuers begin to rescue the minors on the dock. Vier Frauen und drei Mädchen starben bei einem Schiffbruch im Hafen von La Restinga, El Hierro, Kanarische Inseln, Spanien. Dies ist nicht nur ein Unfall: Es ist das Spiegelbild eines kaputten Systems, einer versagenden Politik und eines abgestumpften Gewissens. Heute erhebe ich meine Stimme und sage: Schluss damit! Fordern wir sichere Migrationsrouten, Gerechtigkeit für die Opfer und ein echtes Engagement, diese Realität zu ändern. Denn jedes auf See verlorene Leben ist ein Wrack unserer eigenen Menschlichkeit. Schließen wir uns diesem Kampf an oder schauen wir weiterhin weg?

Quatre femmes et trois filles ont péri dans un naufrage à quelques mètres de la côte, fuyant la misère, la violence et le désespoir, pour finalement trouver la mort dans une embarcation précaire. Il arrive souvent que des migrants, épuisés après plusieurs jours de voyage, s'inquiètent et que l'embarcation chavire, au moment même où les sauveteurs commencent à secourir les mineurs sur le quai. D'autres fois, cela se produit en haute mer.

Comment est-il possible qu'en plein milieu de l'année 2025, nous continuions à fermer les yeux sur cette crise ?

À El Hierro, avec des ressources insuffisantes et une indifférence douloureuse sur les réseaux sociaux, ce n'est pas un accident : c'est le reflet d'un système défaillant, de politiques défaillantes et d'une conscience engourdie. Aujourd'hui, je lève la voix pour dire : ça suffit ! Exigeons des voies migratoires sûres, justice pour les victimes et un engagement réel pour changer cette réalité. Car chaque vie perdue en mer est un naufrage de notre propre humanité. Allons-nous nous joindre à ce combat ou continuerons-nous à fermer les yeux ?

Quattro donne e tre ragazze sono morte in un naufragio a pochi metri dalla costa, in fuga da miseria, violenza e disperazione, per poi trovare la morte su una barca precaria. Capita spesso che i migranti, esausti dopo diversi giorni di viaggio, si agitino e la barca si capovolga proprio mentre i soccorritori iniziano a salvare i minori sul molo. Altre volte accade in alto mare.

Com'è possibile che, a metà del 2025, continuiamo a chiudere un occhio su questa crisi?

A El Hierro, con risorse insufficienti e un'indifferenza sui social media che ferisce. Questo non è solo un incidente: è il riflesso di un sistema corrotto, di politiche fallimentari e di una coscienza intorpidita. Oggi alzo la voce per dire: basta! Chiediamo rotte sicure per la migrazione, giustizia per le vittime e un impegno reale per cambiare questa realtà. Perché ogni vita persa in mare è un relitto della nostra stessa umanità. Ci uniamo a questa lotta o continuiamo a guardare dall’altra parte?
