A mi memoria llega todo lo que aprendí en mi voluntariado y en Integración Social: que hay recursos asistenciales, pero que, ante todo debe buscarse el empoderamiento de las personas que necesitan ayuda para salir de esa situación.
Los servicios sociales que ofrece el ayuntamiento de mi ciudad funcionan de esta manera:
1- Centro de Acogida Municipal
Centro de baja exigencia para personas en situación de exclusión social muy severa (sin techo)
2- Centro de Acogida Municipal
Es un centro de primera estancia para personas sin hogar. En él reciben alojamiento, alimentación, aseo personal, etc., y se comienza un proceso individualizado de recuperación personal orientado a la superación de las dificultades personales y/o sociales.
3- Centro de incorporación social
Es un centro de segunda estancia para acoger a las personas sin hogar que han iniciado su proceso de inserción social forma voluntaria en el primer centro antes mencionado. Su programa de intervención se concreta en completar la formación, búsqueda de empleo, apoyo psicosocial, trabajo de autoestima y de habilidades sociales, organización doméstica y administración económica.

J'ai lu plusieurs articles sur les personnes à risque et l'exclusion sociale, en l'occurrence aux USA.
