El Sindicato Popular de Vendedores conocidos como manteros, han comenzado un proyecto de distribución de postales y pareos con mensajes en las playas de Barcelona, con el objetivo de visibilizar la actividad de los vendedores ambulantes y proyectar una imagen positiva del colectivo. Lo de "sindicato" es un decir porque las personas migrantes en situación irregular NO tienen derecho de asociación
Lo hacen a través de la asociación que ha impulsado esta iniciativa, "The Green Parrot", ha presentado el proyecto que tendrá como protagonistas al colectivo de manteros barceloneses y a "Opavivará!", un grupo de artistas de Brasil que realizó un proyecto similar en las playas de Río de Janeiro cuando se prohibió la venta ambulante durante los Juegos Olímpicos del 2016. Las personas en exclusión social son las grandes víctimas de los juegos.

The Popular Union of Vendors known as manteros, have started a project to distribute postcards and sarongs with messages on the beaches of Barcelona, with the aim of making the activity of street vendors visible and projecting a positive image of the group. The "union" is a figure of speech because irregular migrants do NOT have the right to association
They do this through the association that has promoted this initiative, The Green Parrot, has presented the project that will have as protagonists the collective of Barcelona street vendors and Opavivará!, a group of artists from Brazil that carried out a similar project on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro when street vending was banned during the 2016 Olympic Games. People in social exclusion are the great victims of the games.

Ils le font par l'intermédiaire de l'association qui a promu cette initiative, "The Green Parrot" ("El Perroquet Vert"), qui a présenté le projet qui aura comme protagonistes le collectif de vendeurs ambulants de Barcelone et Opavivará !, un groupe d'artistes brésiliens qui a réalisé un projet similaire sur les plages de Rio de Janeiro lorsque la vente ambulante a été interdite pendant les Jeux olympiques de 2016. Les personnes en situation d'exclusion sociale sont les grandes victimes des jeux.
