MIGRANT LIVES | I Am 18 Years Old!

Greetings to all listeners. I'm back with another episode packed with incredible content. It's an honor to share this space and time with you.

In this episode, we delve into the lives of those who defy distance, language, and fear. Migrants who left behind the familiar to embrace the unknown. You'll hear stories of everyday courage, of human beings reinventing their world, of young people transforming rejection into strength. Because migrating isn't just about moving: it's about rebuilding.

For many young people, turning 18 is the best moment of their lives, because they lose parental authority, but for young migrants it can be a tragedy, as they will be removed from the care of minors by regional governments and find themselves, literally, on the street, since, unless they have or build a support network, they may find themselves living on the streets.

As I said last week, facilitating their access to education, especially vocational training, can perhaps facilitate change. What worries me is their mental state.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of humanity and resilience. If this story resonated with you, please share it. And if you have a story to tell, write to me. Until the next episode!
