LAS VICTIMAS . LOS MÉTODOS.  LAS COMUNIDADES.

Ante la dificultad de establecer cifras precisas, se ha tomado la simbólica cifra de seis millones de muertos en torno a la comunidad judía. Se estima que, en total, murieron un mínimo de once millones de personas, de las cuales un millón habrían sido niños. Asimismo, de los judíos que residían en Europa antes del Holocausto, aproximadamente dos tercios fueron asesinados. La máquina del Holocausto contó con una red de aproximadamente 42.500 instalaciones en toda Europa para confinar y matar a sus víctimas y contó con la participación directa de entre 100.000 y 500.000 personas en su planificación y ejecución. Entre los métodos utilizados se encontraban la asfixia con gas venenoso (Zyklon B), disparos, ahorcamiento, trabajos forzados, inanición, experimentos pseudocientíficos, tortura médica y palizas.

Las víctimas no judías de los nazis incluyen a millones de polacos, comunistas y otros de la izquierda política, homosexuales, gitanos, discapacitados físicos y mentales y prisioneros de guerra soviéticos.

Given the difficulty of establishing precise figures, the symbolic figure of six million deaths around the Jewish community has been taken. It is estimated that, in total, a minimum of eleven million people died, of which one million would have been children. Likewise, of the Jews residing in Europe before the Holocaust, approximately two-thirds were murdered. The Holocaust machine had a network of approximately 42,500 facilities across Europe to confine and kill its victims and had the direct participation of between 100,000 and 500,000 people in its planning and execution. Among the methods used were asphyxiation with poison gas (Zyklon B), shooting, hanging, forced labor, starvation, pseudoscientific experiments, medical torture, and beatings.

The non-Jewish victims of the Nazis include millions of Poles, Communists and others on the political left, homosexuals, Gypsies, the physically and mentally handicapped, and Soviet prisoners of war.

 Angesichts der Schwierigkeit, genaue Zahlen zu ermitteln, wurde die symbolische Zahl von sechs Millionen Todesfällen in der jüdischen Gemeinde angenommen. Ebenso wurden von den Juden, die vor dem Holocaust in Europa lebten, ungefähr zwei Drittel ermordet. Zu den angewandten Methoden gehörten Ersticken mit Giftgas (Zyklon B), Erschießen, Erhängen, Zwangsarbeit, Hungern, pseudowissenschaftliche Experimente, medizinische Folter und Schläge.

Zu den nichtjüdischen Opfern der Nazis gehören Millionen Polen, Kommunisten und andere der politischen Linken, Homosexuelle, Zigeuner, körperlich und geistig Behinderte und sowjetische Kriegsgefangene.
