Hi. How are you? Welcome back to one more day from the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.
It is awesome how our perceptions change, depending on if a person is famous, i.e., rich, or not, in this case, poor. We are able to accept a rich Arab as a president of our football club, a Black footballer (it does not matter if he comes to Spain on a boat), or a singer from a country famous for exporting drugs; lamentably, they will be considered FOREIGNERS.
However, there are people who are unable to accept others who came here to improve their lives, risking them; lamentably, they will be considered IMMIGRANTS.
It is racism, xenophobia, and aporophobia.
And with this I conclude today's episode; see you in the next one!
