Hello, how are you? Welcome to this podcast, from the Canary Islands to the world, when it's the ...
Stories of struggle, resilience and hope of migrants seeking a better future, facing cultural, legal and personal challenges in new horizons. #MigrantLives
Saying "migrants" or "people in a situation of migration" not only emphasizes the humanity of individuals but also avoids reducing them to a stigmatizing category.

Existence is a crime, which is false. Irregular migration is not a crime in many legal contexts, but an administrative offense. Furthermore, in the case of the Canary Islands, many migrants are asylum seekers or fleeing conflicts, such as the coups in the Sahel or instability in Senegal, which grants them rights under international law.
And that concludes this today's episode, see you in the next one!
