MIGRANT LIVES| When Investors Take Over The Neighborhoods

Who lives on my street? "Ghost neighborhoods" (those luxury second homes) destroy multiculturalism. When a neighborhood fills with absent investors, real diversity is lost—the diversity of neighbors, local businesses, and families of different backgrounds. Social connection: true community happens when people share public services, parks, and sidewalks. Defending the right to housing is, at its core, defending the survival of multiculturalism.
