Today I'm opening a book that isn't on any bookshelf: the one that is written with each page that transforms us. We travel the world in search of new stories, because reading is crossing borders without a passport. And each story is a cultural compass.
We've often been told that the history of this continent began with colonization, but today we're opening a book that proves otherwise: the Epic of Sundiata. It's not just a story; it's the African equivalent of the Iliad or the Cantar de mio Cid.
"Sundiata Keïta is not a myth; he was the founder of the Mali Empire. His story reaches us thanks to the griots, the masters of the word and guardians of memory, who sang it for centuries before it was written down.

اليوم أفتح كتاباً ليس على رفوف المكتبات: كتابٌ تُكتب صفحاته مع كل صفحة، كتابٌ يُغيّرنا. نسافر حول العالم بحثاً عن قصص جديدة، لأن القراءة عبورٌ للحدود بلا جواز سفر. وكل قصةٍ هي بوصلةٌ ثقافية.
لطالما قيل لنا إن تاريخ هذه القارة بدأ بالاستعمار، لكننا اليوم نفتح كتاباً يُثبت عكس ذلك: ملحمة سوندياتا. إنها ليست مجرد قصة؛ إنها النسخة الأفريقية من الإلياذة أو قصيدة السيد.
"سوندياتا كيتا ليس أسطورة؛ بل هو مؤسس إمبراطورية مالي. وصلتنا قصته بفضل الرواة، أساتذة الكلمة وحُماة الذاكرة، الذين تغنّوها لقرون قبل تدوينها.
