MIGRANT LIVES| Samuel Luiz: Death of An Innocent

The murder of Samuel Luiz is a case of homicide resulting from a homophobic gang attack and abandonment (failure to render aid) of Samuel Luiz Muñiz, a 24-year-old Spanish man of Brazilian origin, which occurred in A Coruña (Galicia) in the early hours of July 3, 2021.

Undoubtedly, it was a highly publicized case, and I will not delve into the legal aspects, but rather into the precedent it set: that no one should go unpunished for a hate crime such as homophobia.
