Criminalizing migrants has reached a new level: now they're called "MENA - Erasmus". "MENA" stands for "Unaccompanied Foreign Minors." It's a curious name, because during my time as a tutor for that European program, I never saw a parent. This phenomenon occurs when a parent brings their child, mostly through the airport, and then returns to their country, leaving them, or turning them over to the Spanish authorities, in this case. Without justifying anything, imagine having to do that.
