STORIES FROM HORROR| Mass Migration for Bluffers

Hi there. Welcome to this podcast, from the Canary Islands to the world, when are the ...

This is a raw and unfiltered look at the darkest chapters of history. In each episode I explore dictatorships, hate crimes and terror regimes that left indelible scars on humanity. Silenced voices, forgotten memories and uncomfortable truths that need to be told.

The most common cause of hatred is the response to aggression. Sometimes we feel harmed by other people, aggressions that don't necessarily have to be physical, but sometimes they are. At that moment, we begin to consider that person as an enemy attacking us, and the immediate response is hatred.

In total, Spain has 49,153,849 inhabitants, of which 42,206,138 are Spanish and 6,947,711 are foreigners. This means that the foreign population represents approximately 14% of Spain's total population.

By 2025, Spanish authorities estimate there will be around 600,000 undocumented immigrants in Spain, according to CIBERESP. This figure remains the same despite the regularization, naturalization, and family reunification processes. In the first few months of 2025, more than 11,200 migrants arrived in Spain irregularly, although this represented a 23.3% decrease compared to the same period in 2024, according to Europa Press.

And that concludes  today's episode, see you in the next one!
