MIGRANT LIVES | Rwanda: Returning Home

Hello, how are you? Welcome to this podcast, from the Canary Islands to the world.

Stories of struggle, resilience and hope of migrants seeking a better future, facing cultural, legal and personal challenges in new horizons.

After fleeing the horrors of the 1994 genocide, a growing number are ready to return to Rwanda, despite many concerns about how they will face the decades away from home.

The question we must ask ourselves is what future awaits these young people. Does Rwanda have a return plan? What about the clashes between the M23 and the Congolese Army? Will they be allowed to return home or will they end up in a refugee camp?

And that concludes this today's episode, see you in the next one!
