Cultural Cancellation: A Lost Opportunity

Hi. How are you? Welcome back to one more day, from the Canary Islands to the world, with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.

Cancellation culture is a relatively new concept. This expression refers to the act of “canceling” a person or a work, for example, "Gone with the Wind", invalidating their opinions and practically their existence from all areas of society and, all of this, following the publication of a comment or support for a specific position on a certain issue, generally through social networks.

I am against cancelling works. Rather, I believe in pedagogy, unless it is a very serious matter.

And with this I conclude today's episode; see you in the next one!

If you have any comments or suggestions for future episodes, you can write me a comment.
