Stories of struggle, resilience and hope of migrants seeking a better future, facing cultural, legal and personal challenges in new horizons. 

There are those who consider themselves super-Christians, filling their wall with "Christs" and churches, but they forget the most essential thing: love for their neighbor.

And some are luckier than others: seeking refuge requires money for transportation, unless they are available, and if they use cell phones...because not everyone is poor.

A war is not necessary, it will depend on having a different political opinion, being a writer or being gay, like many Russian refugees.

There are people who say they prefer Ukrainians because, according to them, they do nothing wrong. In fact, there are those who consider themselves closer culturally speaking to these than to the Berbers, the origin of the Canary Islands.

Before being refugees, Ukrainians have been and are economic migrants within the EU. They have been and are desired and sought-after economic immigrants, unlike those who discursively and legally often have no right to stay. In this sense, Ukraine is not only the breadbasket of Europe but, like other Eastern European countries, it is also a growing and increasingly essential pool of essential workers.
