Hi how are things? Let's prepare for a journey of discovery and learning. Today, we travel to Asia and I will talk to you about Nepali women and menstruation.

During Chhaupadi, which is a form of menstrual taboo that prohibits Hindu women from participating in ordinary family activities while menstruating as they are considered "impure", women are kept away from their home, forced to live in a stable or hut. makeshift shelter known as a menstruation hut until her period ends. Childbirth also requires a similar form of seclusion. While their menstruation lasts, women are prohibited from participating in the events of daily life and interacting with members of their community.

And here superstition, ignorance and, I would say, the control of women are mixed and that is why I have included it in the "Stories from horror" section. This superstition arises from the myth that menstruation is a curse from Indra. In this belief system, it is presumed that if a menstruating woman touches a tree, she will never bear fruit again; If she consumes milk, the cow will not produce it again; if she reads a book, she will get angry Sarasvati, the goddess of education; If she touches a man, the man will become sick.

Refugees and migrants are currency to achieve economic or political gain between some neighboring countries. A tour in images of the hottest migratory points Lesvos, Poland, Mexico, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Libya and Venezuela.

Without a doubt, this is a political maneuver that has used migrants and their desire to reach Europe as a throwing weapon. A human shield with the faces of families, young people, women and unaccompanied minors.

Again...migrants are scapegoats for all the problems. We are already seeing it in Spain, where there are autonomous communities that refuse to welcome them.

Is airgeadra iad dídeanaithe agus imircigh chun gnóthachan eacnamaíoch nó polaitiúil a bhaint amach idir roinnt tíortha comharsanachta. Turas in íomhánna de na pointí imirce is teo i Lesvos, an Pholainn, Meicsiceo, na hOileáin Chanáracha, Ceuta, Libia agus Veiniséala.

Gan dabht, is ainliú polaitiúil é seo a bhain úsáid as imircigh agus an fonn atá orthu an Eoraip a bhaint amach mar arm caithimh. Sciath dhaonna le aghaidheanna na dteaghlach, na ndaoine óga, na mban agus na mionaoiseach gan tionlacan.

Arís ... is gabhair scape iad imircigh do na fadhbanna go léir. Tá sé á fheiceáil againn cheana féin sa Spáinn, áit a bhfuil pobail uathrialacha a dhiúltaíonn fáilte a chur rompu.

Frankly, I say it how I feel; I hope this is the beginning of the end of the extreme right. Denmark has gone from being a pioneer in Europe in terms of welcoming migrants, as well as being a signatory of the United Nations Convention on the Status of Refugees, which it promoted in 1951, to having a xenophobic party and its parliamentary group being reduced. from six to two deputies.

Once again, we see how the victims of a populist party, like all others, are vaccines, immigrants and taxes.

The exchange is a mechanism that involves allocating the forgiven amount - or a part - to investments that favor development.

My questions: is this exchange being effective? Is it reaching the population? Does it facilitate co-development?

As I read, there was an agreement signed with Cameroon, through the Debt2Health initiative of the Global Fund for HIV, tuberculosis and malaria, is an example of this type of mechanism. Spain committed to burning promissory notes for 27 million dollars (24.6 million euros) coming from official development aid and, in exchange, the African country allocated 10 of them to the Fund, which channeled them back to support programs of health and that count as the Spanish contribution to the organization. Similar swaps were made with the DRC and Ethiopia.

The history of the fight for land in Brazil dates back to the 16th century, when the Portuguese Crown dominated Brazilian territory. With the slave system, large estates concentrated in a few hands profited from the slave labor of millions of people from Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Mozambique and Nigeria on coffee, sugar or cotton plantations.

The Quilombos were the refuge of blacks but also of some indigenous people, deserters and mestizo whites, since it was common for quilombolas to maintain commercial relations with neighboring towns, exchanging agricultural products for manufactures. Perhaps the best known was Palmares, it was the size of Portugal and had about 30,000 inhabitants. , managed to remain for almost the entire 17th century.

In 1988, in the context of the constituent process, the Unified Black Movement achieved that the new State constitution recognized the right of the quilombola communities and their descendants over the lands they had traditionally occupied. But this again happened only on paper. Today, only 9% of the quilombola communities obtained legal recognition of their territories, although the Federal Government recognizes the existence of at least 3,447, while Conaq speaks of at least 6,000 throughout the country.

Read carefully: in the photo preceding the text it says "2024", but the proposed activities seem taken from that service that had to be done during the Franco dictatorship. Why do they never open mechanical workshops?

Dikkatlice okuyun: Metnin önündeki fotoğrafta "2024" yazıyor, ancak önerilen faaliyetler Franco diktatörlüğü sırasında yapılması gereken hizmetten alınmış gibi görünüyor. Neden hiç mekanik atölye açmıyorlar?
