Hello. How are you? Welcome back one more day. From the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights and other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.

Viktor Frankl was born into a Viennese Jewish family in 1905, when Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis was beginning to gain popularity among European psychiatrists.

In September 1942, he, his wife and his parents were deported to Theresienstadt, a concentration camp near Prague. From 1942 to 1945 he was in four concentration camps, including Auschwitz, known as the extermination camp. What he experienced in those years is unimaginable.

After liberation, he spent several weeks in Munich trying to find out who of his relatives had survived. And he learned that they had all been murdered.

What he did was try to cope with what it meant for him to have to radically re-learn how to be a person again.

And with this I conclude today's episode, see you in the next one!

If you have any comments or suggestions for future episodes, you can write me a comment.

Hallo.

Rugadh Viktor Frankl isteach i dteaghlach Giúdach Víneach sa bhliain 1905, nuair a thosaigh síocanailís Sigmund Freud ag éirí níos coitianta i measc síciatraithe Eorpacha.

I mí Mheán Fómhair 1942, díbríodh é féin, a bhean agus a thuismitheoirí go Theresienstadt, campa comhchruinnithe in aice le Prág. Ó 1942 go 1945 bhí sé i gceithre champa comhchruinnithe, lena n-áirítear Auschwitz, ar a dtugtar an campa díothaithe. Tá a bhfuil taithí agam sna blianta sin doshamhlaithe.

Tar éis dó a bheith saor, chaith sé roinnt seachtainí i München ag iarraidh a fháil amach cé dá ghaolta a tháinig slán. Agus d'fhoghlaim mé go raibh siad go léir a dúnmharaíodh.

Is é an rud a rinne sé ná iarracht a dhéanamh dul i ngleic leis an méid a bhí i gceist aige go mbeadh air foghlaim go radacach arís conas a bheith ina dhuine.

Agus leis seo cuirim críoch le heachtra an lae inniu, feicfidh mé sa chéad cheann eile thú!

This is what happens if you say Jesus was Palestinian

Hi!. How are you? Welcome back one more day from the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.

What a pickle has been made for saying that Jesus is Palestinian! . At that time, the Roman Empire came under the name of Judea and Palestine.

Nowadays, Bethlehem is in the West Bank.Another thing: we must distinguish nationality, ethnicity, and religion: Jesus was ethnically Jewish; he prayed in synagogues, and if he had had a passport, he would be Palestinian, because Israel did not exist until 1948.

The bad thing is that this holy city is surrounded by 32 physical barriers, according to the Palestinian National Authority. This means that the religious freedom and freedom of movement of Palestinian citizens have been prohibited.

Well. I remember that last year they put Jesus in a manger with a kuffiyah or Palestinian scarf, and nothing happened... or as a refugee.

This year it was the Vatican, and that's it: the Nativity scene was set up. A real treat. In Jesus' time, that country was Palestine, with different areas and tribes. They had no borders. Remember, Israel was founded in 1948.

Israel doesn't like it because it means recognising Palestine... because they don't recognise Jesus.

And with this I conclude today's episode. see you in the next one!

If you have any comments or suggestions for future episodes, you can write me a comment.

A ver.

What a pickle has been made for saying that Jesus is Palestinian! . A see. And since then, the Roman Empire came under the name of Judea and Palestine. Currently Bethlehem is in the West Bank.

Another thing: we must distinguish nationality, ethnicity and religion: Jesus was ethnically Jewish, he prayed in synagogues and if he had had a passport, he would be Palestinian, because Israel did not exist until 1948.

The bad thing is that this holy city is surrounded by 32 physical barriers, according to the Palestinian National Authority. This means that the religious freedom and freedom of movement of Palestinian citizens has been prohibited.

LIBROS DEL MUNDO | Galdós en Madrid

Hola.

Hello. How are you? Welcome one more day from the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.

Benito Pérez Galdós (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, May 10, 1843 - Madrid, January 4, 1920) was a Spanish novelist, playwright, chronicler and politician.

He is considered one of the best representatives of the realist novel of the 19th century, not only in Spain, and a key narrator in the history of literature in the Spanish language.
He transformed the Spanish novelistic panorama of the time, moving away from the romantic current in favor of naturalism and bringing great expressiveness and psychological depth to the narrative.

Saving the differences, he reminds me of James Joyce. In fact, we must remember that there are a good number of conservative and traditional personalities who, as soon as they found out that their name was in the running for the Nobel Prize, got down to work and hatched a plot.

And with this I conclude today's episode. See you in the next one!

If you have any comments or suggestions for future episodes, you can write me a comment.

Paternalismo y arrogancia

"If this were not France, you would be ten thousand times more in the shit," Emmanuel Macron. This kind of phrase can only be said by someone who believes that outside the metropolis nothing works without its supervision. It is typical of a colonialist, racist and paternalistic country that looks down on anything that does not fit into its standard. If Mayotte is like this, it is because France does not care about the inhabitants of the outermost regions.

"Mura mbeadh an Fhrainc seo, bheadh tú deich míle uair níos mó sa cac," Emmanuel Macron. Ní féidir an cineál frása seo a rá ach amháin ag duine a chreideann nach n-oibríonn aon rud lasmuigh den chathair gan a mhaoirseacht. Is gnách é de thír choilíneach, chiníoch agus atharthachta a bhreathnaíonn síos ar rud ar bith nach n-oireann dá chaighdeán. Má tá Mayotte mar seo, tá sé toisc nach bhfuil an Fhrainc cúram faoi áitritheoirí na réigiún is forimeallaí.

"Ukube bekungeyona iFrance, ngabe uphindwe izikhathi eziyizinkulungwane eziyishumi," u-Emmanuel Macron. Lolu hlobo lwesisho lungashiwo kuphela umuntu okholelwa ukuthi ngaphandle kwedolobha elikhulu akukho okusebenzayo ngaphandle kokuqondisa kwayo. Kuyinto evamile ezweni lamakholoni, elicwasa ngokwebala kanye nelobaba elibukela phansi noma yini engahambisani nezinga layo. Uma iMayotte inje, kungenxa yokuthi iFrance ayinandaba nezakhamuzi zasezifundeni ezikude.

SOSTENIBILIDAD | Cómo convertir el aprendizaje en oportunidad

Hola.

Hello. How are you? Welcome one more day from the Canary Islands to the world with a new episode of this podcast about human rights or other curiosities. A pleasure to be here.

Co-development is understood as a form of cooperation in which migratory movements, and therefore, migrants, become a vector of development in their countries of origin.

Let me explain: a migrant person arrives in Spain and after going through the whole process and, above all, having specialized in something, returns to his country or collaborates with it by launching projects that give employment to his fellow citizens and prevent them from risking their lives.

And with this I conclude today's episode, see you in the next one!

If you have any comments or suggestions for future episodes, you can write me a comment.

Hallo.
