I have applied for a job offer for sociocultural animators. However, I keep thinking that perhaps age and experience can work against me, incredible as it may seem, because it seems that companies prefer young and inexperienced people. Another thing that should change in the way they treat candidates: in Spain they tend to tell you "we will call you in a week". That phrase is devastating for a person who needs to work, because it means "silence" and you already know that they will not choose you. And then those of us who have studied Sociocultural Animation or Social Integration almost always stay out of the calls because they prefer social workers or educators. I feel pessimistic, but it is reality.

Chuir mé isteach ar thairiscint poist do bheochantóirí soch-chultúrtha. Mar sin féin, bím i gcónaí ag smaoineamh go bhféadfadh aois agus taithí oibriú i mo choinne, dochreidte mar a fheictear, mar is cosúil gur fearr le cuideachtaí daoine óga agus gan taithí. Rud eile ba chóir a athrú ar an mbealach a gcaitheann siad le hiarrthóirí: sa Spáinn is iondúil go ndéarfaidh siad leat “cuirfimid glaoch ort i gceann seachtaine”. Tá an frása sin tubaisteach do dhuine a gcaithfidh obair a dhéanamh, toisc go gciallódh sé "tost" agus tá a fhios agat cheana féin nach roghnóidh siad thú. Agus ansin fanann daoine dínn a rinne staidéar ar Bheochan Sochchultúrtha nó Comhtháthú Sóisialta beagnach i gcónaí as na glaonna mar gur fearr leo oibrithe sóisialta nó oideachasóirí. Braithim Doirbh, ach is réaltacht é.

Sinto-me pessimista, mas é a realidade.

“It is not about having the right to be equal, but to have the same right to be different "

Life After Hate is an initiative committed to helping people leave a life full of crime, especially hate. I wish there was one like it in Spain. I wish people would stop being dazzled by hatred towards those who are different, because, deep down, we are all the same.

Life After Hate

Many people, especially xenophobic, repeat like a mantra to expel migrants. Luckily, refugees, once they have achieved status, are unbearable. But the worst thing about deportation, a word that I don't like, because it takes me back to other times, is the stigmatization they suffer when they return home empty-handed. Because the same community or family that sent them are the same ones that reject them.

Déanann a lán daoine, go háirithe seineafóbach, athrá cosúil le mantra chun imircigh a dhíbirt. Ar ámharaí an tsaoil, tá dídeanaithe, nuair a bhíonn stádas bainte amach acu, dosháraithe. Ach is é an rud is measa faoi ionnarbadh, focal nach dtaitníonn liom, toisc go dtógann sé ar ais mé go hamanna eile, an stiogma a fhulaingíonn siad nuair a fhilleann siad abhaile gan lámha. Toisc gurb iad an pobal nó an teaghlach céanna a sheol iad na daoine céanna a dhiúltaíonn dóibh.

There is nothing I like more than to demonstrate my arguments with examples. True. Thereare people who think that the culture of the countries should be respected. The problem is that, in this case, the Afghanistan of the 1960s had little or nothing to do with that of now.

Níl aon rud is fearr liom ná mo chuid argóintí a léiriú le samplaí. Fíor. Tá daoine ann a shíleann gur cheart meas a thabhairt ar chultúr na dtíortha. Is í an fhadhb atá ann, sa chás seo, nach raibh mórán nó aon bhaint ag Afganastáin na 1960idí leis an bhfadhb atá ann anois.

A Taliban court sentences a woman to 40 lashes for talking to a man on the phone. This has nothing to do with religion, but with the dispensation of merciless justice towards women. It's forbidden by law, but the Taliban don't care about everything.

Elitista y/o alternativo

 Elitista

Elitist
"A person who behaves as a member of an elite, manifesting tastes and preferences different from those of the majority."

Alternative
"Activities of any kind, especially cultural, that are contrary to the commonly accepted official models"

I recently participated in a debate on cultural centers. As I have experience, either through my own experiences as a coordinator of activities, or as a user, I feel that in the neighborhood we have sufficient cultural resources, but, in my opinion, poorly managed, since, either because you want to do activities that are rarely people do, either because you hope that these places are better cared for, because, at least I see that the details are not taken into account in the social places, it turns out that they are considered "elitist" because they think that they escape the cultural demands of the neighborhood. I don't see a difference between "elitist" and "alternative" as they are ways of doing things differently. Perhaps the failure is in thinking that all citizens want the same things, and it is not like that.

Elitist
"Duine a iompraíonn mar bhall de mionlach, a léiríonn cách agus roghanna atá difriúil ó na cinn is mó."
Malartach
"Gníomhaíochtaí de chineál ar bith, go háirithe cúrsaí cultúrtha, atá contrártha leis na samhlacha oifigiúla a nglactar leo go coitianta"

Ghlac mé páirt le déanaí i ndíospóireacht ar ionaid chultúrtha. De réir mar a bhí taithí agam, trí mo thaithí féin mar chomhordaitheoir gníomhaíochtaí, nó mar úsáideoir, is dóigh liom go bhfuil go leor acmhainní cultúrtha againn sa chomharsanacht, ach, dar liom, nach bhfuil bainistíocht mhaith déanta orm, ó shin, toisc go dteastaíonn uait a dhéanamh gníomhaíochtaí is annamh a dhéanann daoine, bíodh go bhfuil súil agat go dtugtar cúram níos fearr do na háiteanna seo, mar gheall ar a laghad go bhfeicim nach gcuirtear na sonraí san áireamh sna háiteanna sóisialta, is cosúil go meastar go bhfuil siad “mionlach” toisc go bhfuil siad smaoineamh go n-éalaíonn siad le héilimh chultúrtha na comharsanachta. Ní fheicim difríocht idir "mionlach" agus "malartach" mar is bealaí iad chun rudaí a dhéanamh ar bhealach difriúil. B’fhéidir gurb é an teip ná smaoineamh go dteastaíonn na rudaí céanna ó gach saoránach, agus ní mar sin atá sé.

Elitiste

Uluhlu
"Umntu oziphatha njengelungu le-elite, ebonisa ukuthanda izinto kunye nezinto ezikhethiweyo ezahlukileyo kwezo zesininzi."

Enye indlela
"Imisebenzi yalo naluphi na uhlobo, ngakumbi inkcubeko, echasene neemodeli ezisemthethweni ezisemthethweni"

Ndisandula ukuthatha inxaxheba kwingxoxo mpikiswano ngamaziko enkcubeko. Njengoko ndinamava, nokuba ngamava am njengomququzeleli wemisebenzi, okanye njengomsebenzisi, ndiziva ngathi kubumelwane sinemithombo yenkcubeko eyoneleyo, kodwa, ngokoluvo lwam, alulawulwa kakuhle, kuba, kungenxa yokuba ufuna ukwenza imisebenzi enqabileyo eyenziwa ngabantu, nokuba kungenxa yokuba unethemba lokuba ezi ndawo zikhathalelwe ngcono, kuba, ubuncinci ndiyabona ukuba iinkcukacha azithathelwa ngqalelo kwiindawo zentlalo, kuvela ukuba zithathwa njenge "elitist" kuba bacinge ukuba bayabaleka kwiimfuno zenkcubeko ebumelwaneni. Andiwuboni umohluko phakathi kwe "elitist" kunye "enye indlela" njengoko bezindlela zokwenza izinto ngokwahlukileyo. Mhlawumbi ukusilela kukucinga ukuba bonke abemi bafuna izinto ezifanayo, kwaye akunjalo.

After watching "Born in Syria" or "Born in Gaza", comparisons are inevitable. Day by day, we end up, myself included, in having a multitude of material things and complying at work, if we have it, or having help, to buy basic necessities. But from the vantage point of giving us the privileges, we cannot or should not complain, because they cannot imagine what Syrian or Gaza children suffer, the latter, nor can they walk along the beach without fear of being bombed.

Αφού παρακολουθήσατε το "Born in Syria" ή "Born in Gaza", οι συγκρίσεις είναι αναπόφευκτες.
